Exam prep Bad Schussenried

Want to give your German exam preparation a head start by joining our full immersion & Exam preparation course in Bad Schussenried, Germany?  Then our exam preparation course is the perfect answer. Students participate in 30 general German lessons a week. These classes focus on German grammar, vocabulary, oral expression, comprehension and reading. Students can choose to have additional private lessons in the afternoon which will focus exclusively on leaving cert exam preparation. These are one to one classes and target the student’s individual language needs and therefore offer a high level of personal attention and support. These classes are €35 each and it is recommended that students who are interested would take 4 private classes per week. There is a full social and activity programme included giving you the opportunity to put your language skills into practice.

The course takes place in the historic monastery town of Bad Schussenried which is nestled between Lake Constance and the Danube. The area is famous for its spas, outstanding natural beauty and culture. The school is located in a modern residential campus just a 5 minute walk from the town centre. It has every facility available to make it the ideal location to improve your German and have a wonderful experience. Facilities include extensive outdoor playing fields and lawns, state of the art gymnasium, indoor heated swimming pool, sauna, indoor tennis court, computer room, indoor climbing wall and barbeque area. Bad Schussenried is also one of the best places to experience authentic German culture, as the town is filled with extraordinary architecture, museums and other cultural landmarks. 

The School

The school is the largest residential school for German as a foreign language in Bad Schussenried and it is located in the Upper Swabia region. The bustling campus means that there is always something to do especially considering that the school is equipped with exceptional facilities such as a swimming pool, sports hall and mini golf course.  It is housed in a modern building complex on the edge of a magnificent park. The city centre of Bad Schussenried is within a 5 minute walking distance of the school.  The course centre is a residential school, i.e. the classrooms are located within the same building complex as the student dormitories. The institute has an international feel and students are supported by the staff and encouraged to speak only German all day long.


The great benefit of studying in Bad Schussenried is that you have the opportunity to live and study in an exciting and vibrant campus. Students are accommodated in twin rooms, each with their own en-suite and private balcony. Every effort is made to ensure that students from the same country or with the same level of German are assigned to the same room. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are provided by the school’s cafeteria with healthy snacks available throughout the day. While staying on campus, the student has access to all of the school’s recreation facilities and the school also provides a weekly laundry service which is free of charge.


The course includes a variety of afternoon activities and excursion. Some activities and sports available are:
